Maria spoke excellent english and was very knowledgeable about Romania's history, architecture, art etc. She was also able to tell me lots of interesting stories about the Romanian people, how things were back in the days of Ceaucescu and how the country is emerging now. She was very responsive to my initial emails and was happy to tailor both tours to include things which interested me. She even brought along sandwiches for the journeys. For a private tour, with two people's wages for two days, plus fuel and entry fees, I found RoCultours to be excellent value for money.
